So what is STEREOSCOPY? One web definition is this::
A technique of capturing a 3 dimensional view by placing two images
taken from a slightly different perspective next to each other
forming a single image. When viewed at a proper distance
a 3 dimensional image will appear between the two.
This is exactly what a Viewmaster does. However if you are looking at
the image without the aid of a viewer, then you must look at it slightly
cross-eyed.
Of course there are many other aspects to stereoscopy, but the 'cross-eyed method'
is what is needed to view my images and animations. After a bit of practice it
becomes easy. If you have difficulty an inexpensive plastic 'lornette' can be
purchased HERE.

The process I used is this:
Render a scene, save the image, name it 'rightmost view'. Move the
camera slightly to the left, render the scene and name it 'leftmost view'.
Use Photoshop to combine the two images into one, putting the 'leftmost
view' on the right and the 'rightmost view' on the left.
